What we collect from merchants

Your name, email address, phone number and business details when you register. Verification documents if you complete KYC. Activity logs of sign-ins and changes made in the dashboard.

What we collect from your customers

The name and email address they enter at checkout, the amount, and the reference they type. That is what a receipt and a dispute need, and it is all we ask for.

We never see or store a customer's wallet PIN, and we do not have access to any wallet account, theirs or yours.

The SMS forwarder

This is the part worth being precise about. The ZeroPay BD SMS app on your handset reads incoming messages and forwards only those from the wallet senders on the list your dashboard supplies. Everything else on the phone is ignored where it sits and never leaves the device.

Forwarded messages are stored so a payment can be matched and later audited. Unrecognised sender headers are logged so we can tell when an operator changes their message format.

The app never reads your contacts, call log, photos or location, and it holds no permission that would let it.

Who else sees it

Nobody we sell it to. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we run no advertising trackers on the checkout.

We share data only where we must: with a hosting provider that runs the servers, and with a regulator or court where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Transaction records for as long as the account exists and for six years after, because that is how long a financial record should be produceable.

Forwarded messages that matched no payment are cleared periodically. Close your account and we delete what we are not legally required to retain.

Your choices

Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, using the contact details on the contact page. Uninstalling the forwarder app stops all message collection immediately.
